Local Elections 2012 - Our Manifesto for St Clears & Bancyfelin
Our Manifesto for both the County and Town Councils elections is to:
- Help local people wherever we can with their problems.
- Make sure that St Clears doesn't have any more large-scale housing developments - the infrastructure of the Town can't take it.
- Ensuring that we have local jobs in the area so that not everyone has to commute.
- Keeping Pentre Road a vibrant local shopping centre - we don't want a 'ghost town'
- Achieve two hours free parking in the main car park in St Clears - so those visiting the Sugery aren't penalised unfairly and local businesses are disadvantaged.
- Reduce vehicle speeds in the area and put in place traffic calming measures.
- Getting more play facilities for local children and better community facilities for all groups in the community.
- Re-opening St Clears railway station.
- Making the County Council take notice of St Clears and Banc-y-felin and give them a higher priority.
- Improving the way the County Council works.
If you share our aims, please support us and particularly our County Council candidate, Selwyn Runnett.
